WHY WE LOVE OUR WORK

Along with our partners, we come to work every day because we want to address one of the biggest issues providers are still confronting in being able to provide optimum healthcare delivery – easy, user-friendly access to real-time and historical data from patients. Whether their patients are  at risk from chronic or critical illnesses, whether they are dealing with addiction, obesity, diabetes, or heart issues, or the  medications necessary to treat these chronic and grave illnesses, the more high-quality actionable data their provider has the better the care they can provide.

Healthcare providers can now routinely track vital signs remotely, such as heart rate, and blood pressure, but the problem with remote data quickly becomes how to interpret not just the flood of data itself but the patterns and rhythms within the data.

These “patterns and rhythms” are missing from raw sensor data, and are buried in floods of poorly organized and irrelevant data, but they are critically important diagnostic elements that doctors learn to observe in-person with patients through long experience. It’s what their “sixth sense” plus professional experience enables them to “see” when they are face to face with a patient.

Roughly 70% of detected symptoms in patients are “observed” during in-person interaction and not detected from simple vital signs like the routine weight and BP measurements that precede an office or virtual visit. UDW CAN GREATLY INCREASE THAT PERCENTAGE IN VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON VISITS ALIKE.

The clinician or nurse reading the numerous BIOMARKERS we can provide 24/7 remotely is seeing the raw data organized in a user-friendly interface full of actionable features allowing them to display data in patterns that until now they didn’t have access to – the subtle patterns and from before and after the visit that W/O DATA ORGANIZED BY THE UDW MEDICAL PROVIDER’S INTERFACE COULD NOT BE SEEN. Doctors, nurses, and other providers are crushed by high patient loads, the ongoing pandemic, and endless paperwork, not leaving any time to monitor potentially important changes in biometric data from remote sensors on seriously addicted, critically ill, or otherwise medically compromised patients.

That’s where the UltimateDataWatch will provide important new coverage. Of course, raw sensor data is not a biomarker, a biomarker is not a diagnosis, and a diagnosis is not a treatment or therapy. Sensor data is just that – raw data, and not easily understandable.

What UltimateDataWatch does is organize all this information into meaningful messages to clinicians, first responders, the patient and their designated family members and supporters.

Our meaningful Augmented Intelligence functions track and analyze key metrics in real time, flag important changes in symptoms, and notify both providers and family members and, of course, emergency services in the event of an overdose or other critical medical emergency.

The Augmented Intelligence powered care-related analytics and insights generated by the UltimateDataWatch will improve patient engagement and compliance; help to ensure that treatment plans are being followed; track symptoms, patient condition, and high-risk behaviors in real time; and daily historical data to evaluate and give feedback on progress, monitor medication responses and safety, and achieve more positive outcomes more often, at reduced medical providers time and less cost.

ULTIMATE DATA WATCH – BACKGROUND

This innovation taps into a great need and will save a lot of lives – from professionals to  street people, Veterans and civilians, young and old, addicts and alcoholics, people struggling with chronic illnesses like obesity and diabetes, and people who are gravely ill and taking medications that require close monitoring.

Take relapse/overdose detection as just one example. When a person with an alcohol or other monitored dependency who is wearing this watch relapses and takes a drink or uses drugs the watch will notify their sponsor and anyone else approved and documented by the patient such as their spouse/partner, soon after detecting relapse-related biomarkers.

Overdoses will also be detected and emergency services will automatically be called both by the watch and redundantly by our monitoring system, giving the location of the person.

The person’s medical record will be synced with the watch allowing medical first responders access the (password-protected) data to provide the necessary lifesaving treatments – this will be done without violating HIPAA regulations. The data retrieved from the watch will be highly protected and meet all state and federal guidelines for privacy, HIPPA, AMA, and FDA. In addition, this product will be working in tandem with our other company Data Focus LLC that can store all of the data collected safely and make it available to researchers worldwide.

THE MARKET POTENTIAL

As just one example, there is a huge need and market for this product in treating both addiction and alcoholism through careful, consensual patient monitoring. Alcohol treatment centers such as Hazelden Betty Ford, Veterans Administration, various large providers and self-insured companies, can benefit the most from our system, some are already doing limited versions of this better health supported by technology, but for less cost, we can deliver so much more.

We envision this product will be made available through a variety of providers. Having partnerships with major medical research centers will help us have a constantly improving product the FDA and AMA where we anticipate having minimum compliance issues because this is a non-invasive technology.

There are many different companies developing health monitoring device that address a wide range of needs, but after extensive due diligence none we can identify are building technology to address the needs of the primary care physician, or providers of treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, diabetes and obesity at this level of user-friendliness, and none of the behavioral intervention platforms incorporate the data richness and pattern-detection and display characteristics of UDW.
